Later today, U.S. district chief judge Vaughn Walker will issue a decision on the federal challenge to California’s ban on same-sex marriage. The ballot initiative — Proposition 8 – passed with 52% of the vote — reversing a California supreme court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage from June to November 2008.
We wonder if the opponents of same-sex marriage are gearing up for a loss. Why else would they file a stay before the ruling is made.
